The harvest is going well with most growers informing us they are getting more than they thought they would, especially as they didn't get any finishing rain in September. And that of course means we are also taking in more than we thought we might get, and we reckon we are about a week or two ahead in tonnage over the average.

Sunrise Clouds

Having just had some rather wet weather and some interesting clouds pass through which stopped work for a day, I remembered a shot that I took of a cloud formation at sunrise just a few weeks ago. The sun had not quite got over the horizon in this shot, but had illuminated the clouds beautifully, and the reflected light illuminated the foreground.

Nothing really interesting to pass on here, and certainly no photographs to share either. It's just been a case of eat,work, eat, sleep repeat. We have had some busy days and even did a number of days around and over the 3,000 tonnes, all of which have helped boost our total past last years, and this years expected tonnage.

Mark Twain once said "...years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do that by the things you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - and so we will.
